How can I install Gnome?

I want to use Enlightenment but I didn't install Gnome when I did the first install of Linux. How can I go back and install it, from CD or rpm. Either way.

I see in your later post that you are in trouble now, so it might be irrelevant. You can always use ximian gnome desktop, just point your browser to http://www.ximian.com, you will need lynx or linx installed on your system to perform download of ximian installer, and I afterwards everything is straight forward, you don't need any gnome relevant packages installed prior ximian download, they will all be delivered to you automatically through ximian install script.

Heh, well I installed 7.2 and like normal I had issues getting my Internet to work. So I installed Mandrake 8.1 to joke around with for a week or so. I friend is burning SuSE 7.3 for me so I can try that one out. I'm also downloading FreeBSD 4.5 at the moment so I can give that a try too.
