Hot Keys on Gnome anyone ?....

hi ,

i would like to know whether anyone can tell me what's the hot-key combination for shifting to Xserver once u hv shifted to text mode thru (CTRL + SHIFT + F1)

(CTRL + SHIRFT + BACKSPACE) does not seem to work.

this is because shutting down the machine does not kill the Xserver process and one gets the

INIT: X respawning too fast message...

thanx....
