Hope this is the right forum...:Pengy:

Hi all

(Started the thread in the wrong forum `s... SORRY)

I`m very new to linux. Came to my senses as I`ve been a Windows user for more than 10 years.
I`ve managed, out of my windows experience, to setup my ethernet adaptor to a static IP. I`m using a LAN to connect via a Router (Netgear DG834 static IP 192.168.0.1 "255.255.255.0") I`m able to brows the Local Network but no Internet (Mozilla FireFox). What can I do??
Thanx All
Jaco

Please post your thread in only one forum. Posting a single thread in the most relevant forum will make it easier for members to help you and will keep the discussion in one place. This thread is being closed because it is a duplicate.

as i stated, your thread will be moved to the right lcoation. also use GOOD title next time ehh? i'd rather have a thread with a good title in the wrong forum once than two threads with useless titles in more suitable forums.
