Talking Help With ShutDown!!


i did this!

bash-2.05b$ uname -a
Linux FearPasion710 2.6.0-test6 #4 Sun Oct 5 03:47:53 UTC 2003 i686 AMD Athlon(tm) XP 1800+ AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux

i upgraded my kernel but my computer wont fully shutoff it just stays there! and say power off at the bottom any idea..

Assuming that you have apm setup properly already to shutdown re-compile and disable ACPI or try to disable it by passing noacpi at boot.
