Hi, I am trying to remotely help a senior with 3rd party sign in trouble. He is not teck savvy and due to Covid restrictions I cannot help him from his location.
He has been using a math/physics paid program called "Chegg" for some time and now it wants a verification code which he either does not know or does not know where to find it. His operating system is Ubuntu 16.04LTS, his browser is Firefox and his email is Gmail. Any help sorting this out would be appreciated.
Third party software, it wants confirmation that they are a licensed user, or the binary they're trying to use is authorized.
Contact the software vendor if you've forgotten where it is or what your sign in credentials are/were. If they're in business, I'm sure they can reset a sign-on or answer the question.
Hi again, My friend was able to access the "Chegg" software after an initial problem signing in. I am wondering if anyone knows of Linux software equivalent to Chegg which is a math related program that assists with homework allowing for instance a tutor to check physics answers and perhaps formulas. This is over my head since I only have high school math and have been out of school for 5o years. Thanks, Tukatz
