help can some one give me a link to where i can see how to install programs i did a search and nothing came up on what i needed

i am tring to install a weather bug for linux and my panda anti virus.

It helps if you tell people what distro you are trying to use.

Superkaramba ha a great weather applet called Liquid weather, for AV I would go with Clam or f-prot.

Also, there is some debate about whether you need anti-virus software for Linux (generally not unless you're on a server that provides files or e-mail to Windows clients). You should check out the security forum for more resources and information.
