Help installing Fedora Core 3 on scsi

I just installed Fedora Core 3 to a scsi hard drive. The bios cant boot from the scsi drives. Is there a way to make a linux boot disk that loads the driver scsi driver, and then boots from the scsi drive? (i do not have an IDE drive connected, and would rather boot from removable media) any suggestions?

Some things to check...

You can boot GRUB from a floppy, which then can load & boot the kernel from the SCSI drives, but I'm curious about a couple of things:

1) Your SCSI host adapter should have a BIOS on it that can boot from SCSI drives. What kind of Host Adapter do you have?
Does it assign BIOS drive letters (D:, E:, etc) when you system runs POST?

2) Is there a BIOS update available for your motherboard?

Ok, here is the situation. I have a sun scsi card (something like "sun happy meal") in my computer. The hard drive is in an external enclosure. When I boot into fedora core 3, it "sees" the drive. (just before it says "running anaconda, the fedora core system installer," it says "loading [scsi driver name]" Thats why i can not boot it from the motherboard, its not integrated. BTW, how do I boot GRUB from a floppy, and how do i know what the right driver is for the card, it is loaded automatically.
