HELP !!!!! Email Archival

hi everybody,

I need help on the working of an email archival system, its details and vearious strategies. Anyone who can help me , please

Can u refer any web links?

Archival of what? the server, or your clients email?

Really depends on what you want to archive. Are you talking about a server? I suspect you mean your client email. What client are you using and do you know how it stores email.

As an example. I am currently using Thunderbird, which uses mbox for its local folders. To back these up I copy the ~/.mozilla-thunderbird/somecrazyfoldernamehere/Mail to a backup spot. I am using rsnapshot for this task currently.
