help


Hi, I just downloaded Linux(fedora) and I am still a little bit confused about what is going to happen when I install it. Will I still be able to use Windows while I am getting used to Linux...and if so, how do I switch between the two OS's?

Yes you can switch between the two os's because of the bootloader that'll be installed by Fedora Core. Either GRUB or Lilo. Nothing much will happen though.

A second pc would be best for beginners, but second best comes installing Linux to a second hard drive (with the Windows drive detached to prevent accidental overwrites). If you're feeling more comfortable, use grub to dual boot the OSses.
