Help!!!!
Hii group,
I m a newbie in LINUX environment,using RED HAT LINUX 7.3
I m facing problem in opening GUI interface on few RED HAT MACHINES...
On some of the machines when i give "startx" command an error msg appears that "May b u dont have console ownership" whereas other people can do the same...Also commands like reboot n halt dont work when i m logged in whereas it works for others although those people r also in my group(V r students IN Computer Science)...
I want to know wats the problem...
So can anyone help me out in fixing the problem...
Note: When i work on same machine with different version of linux like MANDRAKE 9.1
there is no such problem
