Question hdparm and bonnie results for scsi disk

I am running Bonnie and hdparm to get the disk performance but the results of the 2 programs are totally different. It seems to me that Bonnie is not giving me correct results. Can someone please help me to decide which results are correct?

hdparm -t /dev/sda

Timing buffered disk reads: 64 MB in 3.86 seconds = 16.58 MB/sec
(plxb0026, Linux 2.4.9-41lxset1smp) [9:49am] ~/perform/scripts # cd bonnie/

~/bonnie # ./Bonnie -d /tmp/scra
File '/tmp/scra/Bonnie.19460', size: 104857600
