Having Trouble With My FLoppy Drive

Hello =),

I am running i believe one of the latest versions of linux redhat version 2.4.something-8 i believe. ive been trying to use my floppy drive to backup some files and it has bee acting very odd. here are my fstab settings for it
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto noauto,owner,kudzo 0 0
what happens is ill access the drive and there is a file named "sign". i delete this file with no problem. when i go back into the floppy drive it shows me nothing is there. i add a new file to the disk "test" i take the disk out and bring it over to my windows machine open the floppy drive and all i see is sign. i goofed around with it a little unmounting and remounting and was still getting the same results. it worked ok after i rebooted but really im just curios if that fstab line is configured correctly. thanks for any help=)

Shouldn't that be kudzu rather than kudzo?

Are you using mtools?
