HAL, fdi policy hiding unwanted partitions

I used to use this method here. It worked great, now after a new install of Gentoo, this doesn't seem to work for me. I have 4 partitions I need to hide in Nautilus.

Does anyone have any idea's on where to start with this..?

Versions installed:

hal 0.5.13-r2
udev 135-r8
nautilus 2.26.3

Try making user changes in /etc/hal/fdi/ instead of /usr/share/hal/fdi, which is overwritten by system packages.

Beyond that, you'll have to post the file you're using and any messages from hal in /var/log/messages to help debug this further.

If it's a recent upgrade, perhaps the kernel changed - there's been naming changes in SATA drives since 2.6.18 or so. You may have to change hda to sda to match what they new appear as.
