I tried autofs through the arch wiki but didnt noe what to to do at the step modprbe autfs4 as there was no modules like that.Yes all devices conncected show up on the desktop

Did you reboot or at least restart the dbus and hal services after uninstalling? Believe me I understand your frustration, I've had a few days like these myself. I'd go back to the start of the Hal wiki, now that autofs is uninstalled and start at step one, rechecking each step if I were you. You've made so many changes trying to get this working that something could've been overlooked.

Thanks peacedog for all your help.I learned so much now.Thanks again.Automounting works with ivman and to eject I use the eject command instaead of kiomount..
