Angry GUI Login gone???

Dear list,

I have a very big problem, i am using NVDIA Riva TNT2 Model 64 32 MB, for the first time i installed redhat 8.0, it works perfectly. After sometime, I found out that the display driver memory is set to 4MB by default, so i change the setting to 32MB. After the changes, i was prompt a message to restart my machine.
After i restart my machine, i cannot go to the GUI login screen anymore. The screen became CUI login, I am a newbie, i do not familiar with the linux command at all.

Someone please help me.....

Thanks.

Linux-Much wonderful than what i expected.......

Hmmmmm, wonder if drivers changed your /etc/inittab, I wouldn't think they would though.....well since you aren't familiar with command line lets see if we can get you back into X before we mess with anything. Can you log in and type "startx" and see if you get an errors?

Why would he have to be root first, regular users can use "startx" ?? We would want to find out what happens if he tries to start X from a command line instead of booting into the GUI runlevel like it seems he is doing as of now.
