Rep:
gtk+ and gtk+ 2
Is it possible, without wird problems/conflicts to install both gtk+ and gtk+2 on the same system, namely Slack 8.1?
So i can try Evidence, (evidence.sourceforge.net) the new gtk+2 file manager built to replace now dead (or never existent?) EFM.
Thanks
-NSKL
yes, they have nothing in common, and can happily live side by side. i found that by installing rather than upgrading it installs fine. that's rpm though
well, you may experiment a lot of bashing-head-on-the-wall problems 'til gtk and gtk2 use different linker (and pkg-config drive me into trouble too often for my taste) but it should work at the end
