GRUB Issues...
 

Okay, instead of doing an upgrade, because I needed to reinstall GRUB, I formatted my FC3 partition, and installed FC4 on it. I ran through the installation and it went fine. The problem is, when I start up now (I am using one of my various Knoppix Live CD's right now) it doesn't complete loading GRUB! It sits there and says:

GRUB _ (the underscore being the cursor)






Does anyone know how to fix this???? I had a dual boot with WinXP and FC3 and somehow GRUB wouldn't let me get out of the command line, and since I am a relative Linux/GRUB newbie, (I figured it was time to install FC4 anyways) I just installed FC4. Was I supposed to uninstall GRUB first???? If so...how???? Please help, I don't want to have to keep using Live distros just to get by!

Yes. For the third time: LEARN HOW TO USE GRUB

Hi,
You better enter into linux as a single user and edit the grub.conf file as your need. If further help let us know.
