grub-install /dev/hda1 = bad mistake?
Hi,
I reinstalled Windoze XP @ /dev/hda on a Notebook, where's also RH9 installed. But after installing Grub on /dev/hda (MBR), the whole NTFS-Partition was completely destroyed, no way to fix it. What the hell happend and how can I prevent this?
Was something wrong with my win partition? I have not a clue. First time I installen Windoze XP and Linux, everything seemed ok.
Im using RH9 with up-to-date Kernel and Grub on a notebook.
If you know anything about this phenomen I would like to know it.
thx
