grub-install: command not found

Hi,

I am following the below link:

once i get to step to install grub2, using:

grub-install --force --no-floppy --root-directory=/media/MULTIBOOT /dev/sdx

in fedora 16 i get the following error:

"-bash: grub-install: command not found."

any help, really appreciated.

I don't run Fedora but I am pretty sure you need to be root in terminal to issue that command.

Thanks for reply. I am already as root.
whoami command says: root
