Grub: Change Default Boot Entry

How can I change what the default boot entry is with grub? I need to be able to do this from a command line (not GUI). Is there a config file hidden some where? Thanks.

should be /boot/grub/menu.lst (or grub.conf ?)...open it up with a text editor and look for a line:

default 0

the first entry in grub is 0, the next one 1, next one 2 and so on...so if the list is:

linux
windows
linux2

then "linux" is 0, windows is 1 and linux2 is 2....so change the default-line to something else like

default 1

that should be it...save and enjoy

Ah, I just looked again, and menu.lst is a symbolic link to grub.conf on FC2.
