Unhappy GRUB Background?


Does anybody know how can i replace the default image which appears in the grub menu when the system comes up?

Thanks.
sorry for my posts spreading.
I've just looking for some simple utility which will allow me to take an image that i've made (jpg, png, bmp ...) and save it as a splashimage format ( splash.xpm/gz) then i hope to direct the grub.conf to use this file.
is it possible.

From that I assume you didn't read the document I linked to above. Look at the well titled section "Quick tips for the impatient".
