GraphiX Programming
how do I do graphics programming in Linux?
I've heard of mesa and other graphix libraries, but i'm still in the dark about actually displaying stuff on the screen.
Using X:
can someone supply some simple code to basicaly:
a. open a window
b. plot a pixel
I'll try and hack it from there..

P.S can you do graphics in shell mode? I know you can in DOS.
