Graphical Interface problem
I have installed Redhat on a newer computer but after i exited firstboot, everything started to screw up.The first time i signed in,everything was ok except for that icons panels were giant, they took up more than 80 % of the screen, then i set the resolution from 1024x768 to 1280x1204 but nothing changed.I tried again but the next time the graphical interface wont even start.I reinstalled redhat and the same thing happens and i get this message saying that i have not configurated it right but i'm possitive i did.I dont know what is going wrong,i have installed the redhat on a older, crappier comp and it turned out all right.Your help on solving my problem would really be great.

check /var/log/XFree.0.log to see what happened at X startup.
also try a lower bit color(like 16 bit or lower) by editing /etc/X11/XF86Config.
you can reconfigure X by running 'xf86config' .

Can you boot to a text login and give us a copy of your /etc/X11/XF86Config file?
Id suggest using v9 as Ive just started using it this week on a laptop noless and it practically installed it self with out a whimper.

and the log file.
check in your log file whether it uses XF86Config or XF86Config-4.If it uses the later, edit /etc/X11/XF86Config-4.
