Question Graphic Mode Loading Issue

After I upgraded my RH 6.1 to 7.2, I lost my GNOME
graphic desktop mode. Each time after I boot it up, it only got the
text mode. Even I login as a root and type the STARTX command,
It always show me the following error message:

Error opening security policy file
UNIXConnect : Can not connect : error=2
failed to set default font path 'unix/:7100'
Fatal server error : could not open default font 'fixed'
When reporting a problem related to a server crash,
please send the full server output, not just the last message.
XIO: fatal IO error 104 (connection reset by peer) on X server
":0.0" after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining.

Please help me out of the black hole, I would be very appreciated
for your concernning.
