Grab Cert??
Not really a Linux question per se, but anyone remember how to grab a cert (for e-mail) from the browser? I forgot.
Thanks, -joseph |
Just gotta love that, eh. Not a single answer from anyone.
Open the browser, type in https://www.yourdomain.com:995 and install the cert. -joseph |

Never saw the question. Here's an alternative method using OpenSSL: openssl s_client -connect <serveraddress>:443 -showcerts |
Kewl.
Thanks! :) -j |
What about for SMTP? If someone doesn't have the ssh on their windoze box, can they use another method of grabbing the cert or do they have to check that darned box everytime with OE?
Tried the browser method and that didn't work. :( Thanks! :) -joseph |
Any takers? Puhleeeeeeeeeeease. :)

I guess if the cert ain't made accessable anywhere else then yes, you would have to use Mockerysoft Lookout. |
