What image type (JPEG, GIF, PNG) should I use if I'd like to add a photo of myself in my public key, in GnuPG?

I haven't been able to find that information anywhere on GnuPG's site...

Regarding transport issues you could try pasting it underneath in mimencoded (base64 or uue) format, but the photo should be very small then. Even better, why not paste in the URI to your photo in the key's comment field?
Never heard of being able to incorporate an image tho...
