Good lists to watch?

Hi there,

Are there recommendations for decent sites/feeds aside from here and newsgroups for things such as what exactly is different in the new updates yum brings down, what new software might be a good consideration, and
is geared towards people that are looking primarily from the admin/upkeep perspective?

Thank you.

Well, www.distrowatch.com keeps and updated list of around 100 Linux distributions, listing the kernel and packages supplied with each version. It links to the homepage of each application / package.

If you're looking for the changes to an individual package or update, then you really need to look at the website for the application (kernel, window manager etc.) itself.
