Going mental here!!!

Is it just me or in Gnome 2 (under Mandrake 9) can you not set it to let you scroll between workspaces by moving the mouse to the side of the screen?

It was fine in 8.2 and it works clicking on the switch in the panel and using shortcuts, but I want to use the mouse!

Someone please please help me.

I think you may have to do some settings manually. Ok I first assume that your window manager is sawfish as it is the default one with gnome.
Go to ----> main menu --------> settings ------> desktop-----> window manager
Now click on "run configuration tool for sawfish" and then go to
Workspaces------->Edge flipping. and check the first box. also I remember that there you can specify the delay between the scroll.

:D

Hi,

I've checked and I don't have those options.
That is the way that I got it working the way I want it in 8.2, but in 9.0 the menu options aren't there. The closest thing I have is Gnome menu ---> Desktop Preferences, but there's nothing in there about my Window Manager. In fact, I can't find any settings for the window manager at all.

Tell me there is something that I'm missing!!

Thanks
