Hi

I've installed slackware 8.1 with the packs a, d, l, n, x and gnome

but everytime i try to run it, it gets a fatal error

here is what is shown at the end of the log:

my video card is a trident blade3d 8mb ram onboard

Did you setup your X server? Chances are that before you can do anything to do with X you'll need to edit your XF86Config file.

run xconfigurator
for more help search in this forum. I think this issue is already discussed manytimes .
