gnome-terminal copy/paste problem

Hi,

Basically - I used to be able to highlight text in gnome-terminal and then paste it using the middle button. This does not work now.

I can do this in Firefox and xterm, but not in gnome-terminal.

To my knowledge I have not changed any gnome-terminal settings. My system is Ubuntu 6.06 standard install with kernel 2.6.15-27-686 - nothing special at all.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Sauce

Maybe I posted to the wrong forum? Or does no-one out there use gnome-terminal?
