Gnome question
I am using RH 8.0 and I have 2 questions about gnome using an x-term command line.
1. Using command-line, how can you change the background color to solid black? 2. Also using command-line, how can we get rid of the bottom icons. Obviously, my goal is to get a solid black screen. Since this is a script, I can't use the gnome GUI stuff. Does anyone know the command-line for this? Thanks! |
couldn't you go to edit --> profiles --> default --> edit --> colors --> white on black

No, because I need to do this command-line.
I need the specific command call that gnome. This is because I am writing a script to turn the background black. I can't script the mouse to move around like that and click buttons. So I need the specific command-line call. |
