I have, and I don't. There is very little (if any) difference between Gnome in 9.0 and 8.0.

Nautilus is inferior to Konqueror, and for me the *only* incentive to use a DE over WM is an integrated file manager.

Probably another reason why I use WM exclusively these days - I find WM with the Rox FM to simply beat anything else out there.

I did use it on 9 and 9.1 and both times crashed. Now I looked at Window Maker it fast coooool and stable.
It will probably become my choice to use as a Desktop but when I am doing admin stuff I will KDE since I have learned a lot from it.

Anybody know where you can download the latest BlackBOX?

Thanks

here you can get Blackbox

http://blackboxwm.sourceforge.net/

I love Gnome and Blackbox the most, but I must say that nautilus sucks. Simple as that. Sometimes nautilus broken itselfs for no apparent reason. It simply hides desktop icons and there're many annoyances with set defalt programs with Nautilus. It's just terrible. Though, I think Gnome looks nicer (and faster for me) then KDE... I should give KDE more time too... but BlackBox does the job

I use KDE, found a nice skin and most programs I use are for KDE. Plus KDE has better admin tools.

It is a program which makes windows.

A Window Manager, in other words. And yes, it is available for RH 8.0. You can get it at www.windowmaker.org, although it is included on your RH CDs.

Gnome 2. It gets in my way the least.
