gnome application question / digiKam
 

Hello,

I used to use digiKam in a kde enviroment, I recently downloaded Ubuntu and am in a gnome enviroment. The problem is that both gnome and Kde have some good features. The questions I have are

Can I install and run DigiKam on a gnome desktop?
or
does gnome have an application that is the same?

I think gnome has a similar tool called gThumb. It is possible though to install digikam and use it whilst running GNOME.
