Ok, here comes a newbie question.
How do I install Gnome 2.2 on RH 8.0 the easiest way, with rpms (so... without compiling)?
Is this possible via a repository (apt-get).
I can't find ANY Gnome 2.2 RPMS for RedHat yet, anywhere at all. Mandrake seem to have done some, there are gentoo packs, debians, the lot.
But no RedHats. Mind you, I can't get onto RedHat's FTP server to do a detailed hunt ('421 There are too many connected users, please try later.') But there aren't any links to them on the website.
