gmail folders in alpine

In my gmail a/c I have severel folders.....each with different label.
while I configured alpine, I give the path as directed in several know-how in internet and only INBOX is there, with sent mail and saved mails.....no other folders.
Quote:
# Over-rides your full name from Unix password file. Required for PC-Alpine.
personal-name=

# Sets domain part of From: and local addresses in outgoing mail.
user-domain=gmail.com

# List of SMTP servers for sending mail. If blank: Unix Alpine uses sendmail.
smtp-server=smtp.gmail.com:587/tls

# NNTP server for posting news. Also sets news-collections for news reading.
nntp-server=

# Path of (local or remote) INBOX, e.g. ={mail.somewhere.edu}inbox
# Normal Unix default is the local INBOX (usually /usr/spool/mail/$USER).
inbox-path={imap.gmail.com/ssl/user=<My User Id>@gmail.com}inbox

# List of folder pairs; the first indicates a folder to archive, and the
# second indicates the folder read messages in the first should
# be moved to.
incoming-archive-folders=

# List of folders, assumed to be in first folder collection,
# offered for pruning each month. For example: mumble
pruned-folders=

# Over-rides default path for sent-mail folder, e.g. =old-mail (using first
# folder collection dir) or ={host2}sent-mail or ="" (to suppress saving).
# Default: sent-mail (Unix) or SENTMAIL.MTX (PC) in default folder collection.
default-fcc=

Create a clean pinerc file:

pine -pinerc pinerc.gmail

Backup the clean file for diffing:

cp pinerc.gmail pinerc.gmail.orig

Modify the entries per the following document:

http://objectmix.com/pine/326840-pine-gmail.html

Use the modified file separately:

pine -P pinerc.gmail

I am able to run Alpine, press "L" for Folder List, and I have two options:

Incoming-Folders
Incoming Message Folders

username@gmail.com
Folders on imap.gmail.com:993/ssl/user=username@gmail.com in home directo

When I select the second option, all of my folders appear:

Folders on imap.gmail.com:993/ssl/user=username@gmail.com in home directory
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

INBOX/ Personal[/] Receipts[/] Travel[/] Work[/] [Gmail]/

The only differences between the default/clean pinerc.conf and the working configuration file are the following seven lines. They may wrap here, but each line needs to be all on one line:

user-id=yourusername@gmail.com

user-domain=gmail.com

smtp-server=smtp.gmail.com:587/tls/user=yourusername@gmail.com

inbox-path={imap.gmail.com:993/ssl/novalidate-cert/user=yourusername@gmail.com}INBOX

incoming-folders=yourusername@gmail.com {imap.gmail.com:993/novalidate-cert/ssl user=yourusername@gmail.com}

folder-collections="yourusername@gmail.com" {imap.gmail.com:993/ssl/user=yourusername@gmail.com}[]

Please let me know if this works for you, and I hope this helps!
