glibc question
 

I am trying to install a new package through the gnome RPM manager on RH7, however it says that the package requires glibc 2.0.7-29.

I have 3 main questions here:

1. Can I simply get the newest version of this glibc?
2. Need I remove the old version?
3. Need I update any existing programs/settings?
