GIMP -Can't open Jpeg
 
I've got the Gimp on Suse 9.1, and can't open any of my jpg's created on my canon digital camera. I get this message: Plug in could not open image.

Any ideas anyone? The crazy thing is, it worked on Suse 9.0. BTW - I have the jpeg plugin installed.

Can you open other jpegs? By which I mean downloaded images. If you can it could mean that your camera isn't mounted correctly.

Open or create a file of some other type and see if you can save as a jpeg.

Maybe the plugin is not working right.
