Gigantic Menu Fonts in Mozilla/GAIM

The menu fonts are huge in GAIM, Mozilla, and other programs. It happens when I turn the resolution up with XF86Config, it makes the fonts bigger for some reason. The fonts are normal with 800x600, but they grow huge by the time I get to 1280x1024.

Do you know of any way to fix this?

Also, it's not Edit -> Preferences -> Apperance -> Fonts, so please don't say it.

I'm using Slackware 9.0 with Fluxbox/KDE 3.1 I've already tryed the KDE font options and it's not them either.

have you tried creating an xf86config file again, but changing the defaults so that it boots to 1024x768? I have never heard of this problem before, but if your intent is to run the system at 1024x768 then that is my best advice...

I want to run it at 1280x1024, the XFC86Config file is set to 1280x1024.

I think it has to do something with GTK.
