Ghostreboot?

Well - had my box sitting there doing nothing. After 10 min. the screen goes blank, ok.
After about an hour the thing is suddenly rebooting for no reason whatsoever. Ideas anyone?

All it says there is: syslog 1.4.1#10 restart and the the whole thing goes ahead and boots into the defaultkernel.Got some other funny stuff going on lately. There are klicking noises coming out of the speakers after a couple of hours.Probably it gets too hot for the penguins.
I'll try with a regular kernel, maybe that has something to do with it.

That's strange, not sure why syslog restart would cause your computer to reboot. That just shows the syslog version number but I couldn't find anything referring to that #10 though.

Yeah, those penguins might be getting hot. They need some fresh air.

Before that it shows MARK every 20 min. Doesn't do anything wrong as far as i see. Even checked the portsentry log for a paranoiacheck.
0 bytes of data there as always.
