ghost for RED HAT 7.2


Yi,

Does anyone has already used a ghost for RED HAT 7.2?

yes... it works with one little glitch.. that I have not had time to investigate...

you will need to re-run lilo after each restore.. their for you need to keep your lilo boot disk around.

(I chose lilo during the install.. by default it is grub.... I did this to be consistent with my other Linux Images... )

On a side note.. I have gotten around the lilo boot disk issue on Red Hat 7.1... though I forget how I did it... but I believe it was when choosing special options in lilo.. geometry or something like that, though I'm not sure you get that option in 7.2...


If your getting ready to install a new system... if you can .. I would wait till the new version comes out.. ( 7.3 / 8.0 )
