Question GForce 3 and Linux mandrake 8


can anyone help ? got all sorts of probs running my prophet3 G force 3 chipset I installed all the nvid updates but all my games hang ?? Am in shock as this should only happen if your useing Microsoft Windows.
any help ?

check the XF86 error log in /var/log - let us know what errors you're getting just before it hangs or crashes. that can really narrow down the problem.
