getting files from a windows fat32 partition

I have a dual boot system set up with linux and windows and i want to bring 6gb worth of data ontio the linux partition is there anyway i can access the fat32 partition through linux to copy the files?? i would burn them to disk but windows has a virus (go figure) and i cant get it to burn any cd's when im able to get into it witch is only through safe mode

Code:

mkdir /mnt/windows
mount /dev/hda1 /mnt/windows

assumign that your windows partition IS /dev/hda1 i.e. first partition on primary master drive.
