Question Getting EXT3-fs Journal Errors with Mandrake 9.1

Has anyone seen this error message before?:
EXT3-fs error (device ide0(3,1)) in start_transaction: Journal has aborted

This is a periodic message printed to the console (Not running X). It appears to print once per day. I'm not sure if there is a log that would catch this error and any others that may help to trace the solution down.

Any Ideas?

Many Thanks In Advance,

The Answer

Turns out the answer had to do with a logging program not pointing to the correct ip of the server. Once the correct ip was entered all error messages went away.

For Future Reference,

I am getting the same problem. Do you know how and to what file you made the change?

That machine was running as a counter-strike server (till the harddrive died). I believe the file was counter-strike specific. It was either for StatsMe or AdminMod. You'll have to try to determine what program you have that is trying to connect to the local machine for logging purposes and then make sure that it is pointing to the correct IP address.
