Get a Free Linux Debit Card

The Linux Debit Card is a way to generate revenue for Linux and other Open Source Projects. It is a secure PIN based debit card that works with your existing checking account. The Linux Debit Card both generates revenue for Linux and is powered by Linux. Every time you use the Linux Debit Card, at no additional cost to you, six cents is donated to help support Open Source Software. It does not cost anything to sign-up or to use the card.

Linux Debit Card is giving away three Linux Workstations next month.

Entering the contest is easy:

1) Sign-up for a Linux Debit Card
2) Make at least three purchases with your card during October.

Contest ends October 31, 2004. Winners will be randomly selected. Check out the details.

Linux Debit Card is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help raise money to support Open Source Software.

Then the rules should be fresh in your mind then one of them being no spam posting. Anyways this thread should be closed soon as I have reported it.

I'm sorry, I did not think this was spam.

1) It is a legitimate project.

2) It is non-profit.

3) It is related to Linux and seems to fall under the topic "Linux - General"

If my post is unacceptable for some reason by all means delete it.

(Although, it would be helpful to me to know why it is unacceptable if that is the case).

Thank you.

I gotta say this is, IMHO a good, legitimate post. It's about linux, it doesn't profit toddlisonbee, and it helps the open source movement of which Linux is the brainchild, pet-project, whatever you wanna call it. This post may be a promo post but I think in this case it's valid.

Well Linux related or not you sign up for something then you have to make purchases with promises of reward for doing so and in the process giving away personal information, in my mind that makes it spam and I reported it as such if the powers that be disagree with me then fine.
