FX5500 video card very slow


I have slack 10.2 with 2.4.13 kernel. I have a geforce FX5500 instaled, but i didnīt get to run some games like doom3. I got the game cube to work but extremaly slow. How can I increase the spped of my video card?

nvidia drivers

Did you install the nvidia driver. If not here is the location:

I had install this driver already. I did it yesterday. But, it didnīt work with doom 3. I donīt know why.
