Ftpwho?

when trying to use the ftpwho command i receive an error telling me to check my scoreboard path or the compile-time path. It gives the unknown directory /var/proftpd. How can i change the compile time path to the proper path for proftpd?

If you have compiled proftpd from source then you should recompile it using the following switch with configure:

./configure --localstatedir=/var

If you don't want to recompile you'll have to use:

ftpwho -p /scoreboardpath

The simplest solution would be to add the following command to your .bash_profile file:

alias ftpwho='ftpwho -p /scoreboardpath'
