Question ftp to winnt server

Hi All,

So where to start? In the past, before I needed to reinstall my SuSE 8.0, I was able to u/l and creat directories to a server.

Now, when I login, all files and directories are r-x. I can not change the permissions? I've tried KBear and LukeFTP. I even tried with CuteFTP and FileZilla on my Windows 98 system. I have been in touch with the support people for the serve, and they claim that everything is fine. That they can make changes through ws-ftp and filezilla. I have sent them log files of the windows attempts. Still they claim that the system is fine!

My friend was able to use FlashFXP on his windows 2000 machine to make changes. Though, again, when I login, I don't see those changes. All files and direcrtories are back to r-x???

So, I don't think it is my linux system, or the windows system. Could my ISP be causing this? Or is a a WinNT FTP server thing?
