FTP files from windows to linux

Any one have a good way or script to transefer files from windows to linux?

windows has an ftp program that will work transferring files between linux and windows. However, this is unsecure and not recommended. There are a few ways of doing this; sftp, scp are two of them. They tunnel through encrypted ssh so they are MORE secure than ftp. WinSCP is a good gui client for windows. Putty also offers psftp for windows.
