Arrow ftp batch file

I am trying to make a batch file to upload several files to my server, they are the same files every time so a batch file would make things much faster, however I am getting hung up on logging in, it does the command ftp marcusandmeagan.com but then it hangs waiting for a username, how can I automate the process so that it will log in for me with my username and password then put 3 files on the ftp server? I have seen this done before but never got to see the batch file that did it, thanks for any help.

Try using ncftp. There is a ncftpput and ncftpget which are used for scripting.

You have to setup a .netrc file in the home directory of the user using ftp. For more info, do a man on netrc(5). -mk
