Exclamation FS stracture or what?!

Hi Everyone,

When I list my files ,using "ls -slh"
some files--their sizes less than 1 K,
but in the block field prints 4 K!!

Does Linux devide the HD to 4 K units?
or what?

Please enlighten me!!

You got it, although as you seem to be using slack, when you installed, you should have had the option to pick 4k, 2k or 1k just after you select the ext2 partition to format and install to...
I just installed Mandrake 8.0 as a three way boot and don't have any sound. I'm using a SoundBlaster Live sound card. Do I need to install a new driver? I don't know much ab

Taz, man, I found that the SBLive support in Mandy 8.0 is terrible. If you want to continue with Mandy and use your SBLive, then get 8.1 (although it seems to think that my s/c is something else...AC97Pro, or something). Anyway, I thought you were going all Hatty on us?

WHOA! Wha' happened? That's not my post. Well the first part up to the mandrake 8 part is mine....Don't have a clue what that's all about but it's not mine...LOL I am using RH. Someone in power messing with me?
